Dinho On His Way Out???

SILVIO BERLUSCONI has reportedly given green light to Ronaldinho’s transfer to Palmeiras.

Reports suggested on Thursday that Brazilian side Palmeiras has made a €8 million bid for 30-year-old star Ronaldinho, and according to some reports in Brazil, Berlusconi has endorsed the transfer.

Berlusconi insisted Ronaldinho would stay at Milan until he finishes his career, but it appears that the Italy Prime Minister finds the offer attractive.

Palmeiras have already prepared a contract for the player that sees him getting €5 million a year (could be raised up to €7 million).

The Verdão’s defender, Danilo has told he feels very optimistic about the arrival of the former Barcelona man back to Brazil.

“When the news came out really seemed an impossible dream,” he said. “But after we spoke with some members of the management, I can only say that I’m happy and optimistic.

“He is one of the best players in the world and both I and my friends would welcome him with open arms. His shirt waiting for him.”

Newspaper Lancet claims the club would be willing to pay £7m in order to have Ronaldinho on loan for this season, possibly up to December 2011.

It is rumoured that several investors have already raised enough to push through the deal, while the club is seeking more sponsors to cover his wages. However, Milan would only release Dinho on loan if he extended the contract that currently ties him until June 2011.If he were to put pen to paper on a new deal that expires in June 2014, then the star could be farmed out to Palmeiras to rediscover his form.

Milan is currently line up bids on Ibrahimovic, Elano, Ben Arfa (on season long) and Kevin Prince Boateng (full own) as a replacement for Dinho and strengthen their midfield area.
